Different style, but still Chanel

I was quite surprised to see the whole new different style of Chanel. When all of us are used to seeing the femininity and elegance from Chanel collections, 2011 fall collection totally shocked our eyes with the tough neutral style and practicality. Instead of romantic lace, nude skirts and floral prints,high heels, slouchy wide-leg trousers, flat boots, tight leggings and low heels take the place to represent the Chanel spirit. The whole new style still remains Chanel's classic white and black color combination,tweed and delicate craftsmanship, but it becomes younger and tougher, even catching the eyes of Alexander Wang's fans.

Hermes fall 2011 VS Hermes spring 2011

Though Hermes fall 2011 collection is great overall, I prefer its spring collection more.Its spring Equestrian outfit combines femininity and neutral style perfectly.Models all looked like wise independent modern women who are strong, determined but also show their gentle soft side. However, Hermes fall 2011 collection only wrapped the models from top to toe. A little bit boring to me. Well, it is just my own opinion.

The last Dior Show. Bye, John Galliano

Dior fall 2011 fashion show became the last show of John Galliano created for Dior. Many fashion elites, editors and stylists paid special attention to the curtain call performance of talented Galliano. Throughout the show, we saw femininity and romance reflected from the wide usage of sheer fabric, lace, and pastels. Except the makeup, it is rare to see Galliano in the 2011 Dior Collection. On the contrary, his own brand under the same name as John Galliano is quite Galliano style. Oh, by the way, I quite love the makeup of both shows.
